Silva Bay Inn offers its guests oceanfront accommodations in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with stunning views of Silva Bay and the Flat Top Islands from its seven oceanfront suites. Located on lovely oceanfront grounds, the Inn is at the head of Silva Bay, on the rural South End of Gabriola Island. Farms, artists, wooden boat builders, kayaking and sailing are within walking distance of the Inn as well as a general store and a resort with a pub and liquor store. Silva Bay and Gabriola Island are host to numerous festivals and events throughout the year. There is something for everyone including maritime, music, and art festivals. Local Information »

Gabriola is one of the southern Gulf Islands, between BC's lower mainland and Vancouver Island. Guests can fly directly to Silva Bay by float plane service from Vancouver Airport in 15 minutes or take a 20 minute car ferry to Gabriola from Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. It is about 14km to Silva Bay from the ferry dock on the North End of the Island and a scenic car or bike ride. If you're on foot, Island Taxi can meet the Ferry and drop you at our door.
